Koperattiva Kummerċ Ġust - Fair Trade Organisation
A Maltese registered, not-for-profit, Fair Trade Cooperative, set up in 1996. It is the owner of the only Fair Trade shop in Malta called L-Arka, found at 306, St. Paul’s Street, Valletta and is constantly active in the promotion of fair values in trade, through regular outreach programs in the form of formal, non formal and informal learning processes, with its own members, NGOs, youth groups, parishes and other associations. The two main yearly events are are Worldfest, the celebration of World Fair Trade Day in May/June, and Taste the World in November/ December, an open festival which achieves a healthy balance between non formal education and entertainment. www.l-arka.org
